Appreciate the challenge

When we do a gratitude journal, we often focus on all the positive things we are grateful for in the present moment.

I encourage you to write about something from your past that was hard but also made you a better version of yourself. A difficult situation that made you stronger, wiser, and more resilient. You might not be grateful for what happened, but I'm sure it impacted you in some helpful way, and you can be thankful for that.

When you encounter challenges in the future and start to feel fear, doubt, and insecurity creeping in, you can use your journal entries to give you the confidence, strength, and courage you need to keep going. As they say, "you have survived 100% of your worst days," so what better way to encourage and empower yourself than through your own experiences and words?

It's important to reflect on the times that weren't perfect in your life because they will remind you how strong and capable you are!
